About us.

Risk Advisory Services (or RAS) was formed in 2007 in response to the lack of independent risk and insurance services being provided to corporate Australia.

Why was RAS created?

Our founders were experienced insurance and risk management professionals who shared a common philosophy that the service levels and transparency of the insurance industry needed to be improved – and that has been our driving focus ever since. Today, we have offices across Australia and have provided invaluable advice and assistance to over 40 of the ASX200, over 50 government organisations and some of Australia’s largest private companies. Enabling them to improve and manage their risk management and general insurance.

Mission

We proudly provide the unsurpassed risk and insurance
advice, solutions and ongoing management services
that large Australasian Organisations, Governments
and their stakeholders
need
for a more successful and secure future.

Guided by our values

1. Independence

To maintain our independence and not be affiliated, partner with nor accept engagements from insurance service providers such as: insurers, insurance brokers or agents, risk management software providers or any similar organisation.

2. Meeting Client Needs

To deliver services to our clients that not only meet their needs – but exceed them.
That’s why we will only accept engagements where we can add true and lasting value to our clients.

3. Professionalism and Integrity

To disclose and appropriately manage any potential conflict of interests that we may have, and to know the client so we are confident that they will act with integrity.

4. Meeting Employee Needs

To attract and retain employees by offering a dynamic and challenging working environment with strong managerial support providing the opportunity to enhance their technical knowledge and personal attributes.
